  1. Power Conversion
    The ability of power conversion to convert electrical power from one form to another is the key application of power electronics. The rectifier is a major component of the power conversion, and it converts AC to DC.
  2. Wind Power Generation
    The rectifier is responsible for converting the variable frequency and variable voltage electricity from the wind turbine into DC power. Subsequently, the multiple boost DC-DC converter is employed to elevate the DC voltage level and maintain it relatively constant regardless of the wind speed. This continuous DC voltage is then inverted to AC voltage to synchronize the output voltage phasor with the grid voltage phasor. Similarly, in electric vehicles, power electronics are utilized to convert DC power from the batteries into AC power for the motor.

    Power electronics are widely used in motor control systems such as industrial automation, robotics, and power generation systems. They are utilized to regulate the speed and torque of electric motors, resulting in enhanced efficiency and reduced energy consumption.
  4. Lighting System
    This system controls the brightness of LEDs and inductive loads, such as fluorescent lamps. This enables more efficient lighting with reduced energy consumption.
