The MP3446U is a high-efficiency, current-mode, synchronous boost controller with a wide 6V to 55V input voltage (V_IN) range. It can operate at multiple phases for high-power applications. The MP3446U also has the capability to drive 10V MOSFETs, which greatly improves efficiency and minimizes power loss.

The MP3446U provides either an I²C interface or serial peripheral interface (SPI) to configure certain key operating parameters, such as the switching frequency (f_SW), current limit, light-load mode, spread spectrum, dead time, soft-start time, and slope compensation. f_SW can be adjusted from 250kHz to 2.5MHz or be directly synchronized to the external source.

The MP3446U also includes under-voltage lockout (UVLO), current limiting, and thermal shutdown protection.

The MP3446U is available in a QFN-21 (5mmx5mm) package.
